Your Cherished Legacy [YCL] was established in August 2020 by Robert Cettl, a University EFL teacher and former SAR Rssearch Fellow at Australia's National Film & Sound Archive [NFSA] currently living and working in China .  A trained archivist, ethnographic filmmaker and independent digital publisher, Robert worked with his father George to publish his father's memoirs in digital and print (hardcover) formats, and make them available for worldwide distribution - easy to order online for international delivery.  On doing that for his father by distance, and negotiating the many communication and coument delivery / formatting issues, Robert was determined to develop a digital publishing service specifically for (but not exclusively limited to) seniors to assist them in the publication and distribution their memoirs, photobooks, scrapbooks and other documents in formats easily passed on to family members, friends and the wider community.  Bringing his 10+ years of independent digital publishing experience to the fore, Robert developed YCL so that seniors and their families could fully benefit from the digital / self-publishing revolution.

YCL publishes memoirs, photo-books and other senior works as may be required on major ebook and POD publishing platforms (including, if wanted, his own website), negotiating the cumbersome and difficult digital publishing process on behalf of his clients.  These memoirs and photo-books can then be downloaded by family, friends and interested parties worldwide for a retail price.  As authors, seniors and their families who partner with Robert and YCL are also offered royalty-based contracts, in which they are entitles to a % of the net profits of any sales outside of family members.  Likewise, seniors and family members can order limited copies at a highly discounted rate.  YCL thus enters into optional written contracts with its senior authors should they wish to pursue a royalties obligation regarding the international sales of their memoirs.
